What are SVG Animations?

SVGs (scalable vector graphics) are visual elements that look pixel-perfect at any scale. It is a vector image format based on XML. It is infinitely scalable and it has support for interactivity and animation. SVG is ideal for logos, icons, diagrams, animations, and other web illustrations, because it tends to have smaller file sizes than other formats.
One of the main benefits of SVG is that, due to the vector nature of SVG, your animations will be resolution-independent, so they will always look crisp and pixel-perfect on any display - even on ultra-high resolution displays!
